Craig Strong plays Nick, Kathy's co-star in the theater play, whom Chandler believed (wrongly) were having an affair while Kathy and Chandler were dating. Nick and Kathy do sleep together after Kathy and Chandler have a big fight resulting in Kathy and Chandler breaking up in "The One With Rachel's Crush".
It should be noted that only Nick's voice is heard and only his pants are ever seen.
