Dick Clark guest starred as himself in "The One With The Monkey" (uncredited). Later in the series, Janine invites Monica and Ross to a recording of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in which Ross and Monica perform their dance routine from high school. ("The One With The Routine").
Dick Clark was an American radio host and television personality. He was famous for hosting the long running variety show American Bandstand. Clark died of a heart attack on April 18, 2012 in Santa Monica, California.
