Mr Kaplan Jr. is Rachel's new boss at Fortunata Fashions where she finds her new job is simply making coffee. His first appearance is in "The One Where Rachel Quits". He is played by Shelley Berman.

- He says that "Mr. Kaplan Senior" likes his coffee to be strong flavored. Mr. Kaplan Sr. is supposedly the director of the company and Mr Kaplan Jr.'s boss, and probably his father.
- He mentions caffeine makes him "gassy." Rachel replies "I know."
