Manny was asked to keep Mike away from Phoebe in "The One With The Memorial Service".
Manny burst through the door of Phoebe's apartment saying "I knew you'd be here!" He blames Monica for not keeping Phoebe and Mike apart while Monica does the same. Phoebe and Mike go away while Manny and Monica are arguing.
