Max Wright played Terry, the manager of Central Perk in season 1 and 2 of Friends (and was referred to in "The One Where Rachel Quits" in season 3).
George Edward Maxwell Wright was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 2, 1943. He was married to Linda from 1965 to her death in 2017 and retired from acting in 2005. His best known role was as Willie Tanner in ALF. He made appearances on a variety of TV shows including Misfits of Science, AfterMASH and Buffalo Bill. Max also made numerous stage appearances across the United States earning a Tony nomination in 1998 for Ivanov.
On June 26, 2019, Wright died from lymphoma at the age of 75.
