Paul Xavier Gleason (May 4th, 1939 - May 27th 2006) was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and was best known for playing obnoxious, cranky bullies. Paul appeared in All My Children for three years and appeared in over 60 films including Trading Places and Die Hard, which is Chandler and Joey's favourite film and which starred Bruce Willis who appears later in the season as Paul Stevens, father of Ross's student girlfriend Elizabeth.
