Steve is Chandler's boss at his internship and Monica's old friend. He appears in "The One Where Rachel Goes Back To Work", "The One With The Mugging" and "The One With The Lottery", when he offers Chandler the job of junior copywriter. He is portrayed by Phill Lewis.

In "The One Where Rachel Goes Back To Work", Monica recommends Chandler to Steve for a job position in Steve's company.

• He is portrayed by Phill Lewis, who two years later (2005) would star alongside Cole Sprouse (who played Ross' son, Ben Geller from seasons 6-8) in the Disney Channel show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and its spin off, The Suite Life on Deck.
