Vince is a firefighter who briefly dates Phoebe in Season 3 ("The One With Ross' Thing"). He was portrayed by Matt Battaglia.
Vince is very manly and attractive but also very sensitive and writes about his feelings in a journal.
They stop seeing each other because Phoebe is also seeing a kindergarten teacher called Jason, and had a candlelit picnic dinner with him in the park. While Vince didn't mind that Phoebe dating another guy at the same time, he broke up with her because couldn't be with someone who would "have an open flame in the middle of a wooden area."
